Monument Security complies with all state mandated training requirements. All officers are trained to our strict standards before they are assigned to a client site and placed into the site’s Training and Development Program. Our officers complete Monument’s Security Officer’s Standards & Training course, a full day orientation and structured class room training session. This session covers the following topics:

	Safety

	Fire Prevention (2 sessions)

	Legal Aspects to Security (2 sessions)

	Report Writing

	Public Relations

	Patrol Techniques

	Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

We incorporate Private Security Training Network (PSTN)®, a nationally recognized training leader for private security, into our training courses. All courses are taught by Monument Security certified instructors.
